At Caraway Apartments, equal opportunity offers a variety of people from all walks of life a chance to start anew, and is centered around connectivity within the community. Inspired by the caraway seed and its ability to grow into something new, the former Children and Family Services building was repurposed into 44 affordable housing apartments.  Offering a fresh start and opportunity for emerging individuals and families, and dedicating apartments to youth aging out of the foster care system. Four additional new construction buildings completed the site plan, offering a total of 116 affordable apartments for rent in Denver, CO.

 

The rich and vibrant color palette, intermixed with warm wood tones and modern design elements, creates an environment for residents to live work and play. Unique in its design, in an effort to collaborate with local artisans, striking custom murals and art installations are incorporated throughout the public areas; reinforcing the message of community throughout the building.
