The Cherry Cricket, famous for their burgers, ‘frings’, green chili and casual atmosphere, opened their second location in 2018. The new edition, Cherry Cricket Ballpark, is located adjacent to Coors Field on Blake Street, and is sure to be ‘the spot’ to be on game-days, weekends, and even late-nights.

Residing in what was previously, The Breckenridge Brewery, the new restaurant boasts nearly 10,000 square feet; including a quick service area, coined, Cricket to Go, that will be serving burgers until 3am on weekends, and a Barcade with vintage arcade games, and self-service beer tap.

While the second addition of the Cherry Cricket is not an exact replica of the original, careful considerations were made to ensure the vibe remained ‘Cricketesque’. Every detail was carefully calculated, from the custom distressed green wood flooring in the bar, to the whimsical black and white tiles at the Cricket to Go, and the mismatched, patchwork carpet tiles to the vintage milk crates used to create a dropped ceiling in the dining area. The Cherry Room, situated with the million dollar view of the 1500 gallon 360 degree, salt water fish tank, is intended to be the ‘living room’ of the restaurant. The soft seating and warmth of the custom fireplace against the reclaimed brick walls give the sense of home and relaxation, completed by a ‘family’ photo wall showcasing Cricket’s and Denver’s history.
